Blue Ridge Mountains, NC

October 7 – 11, 2026

Blue Ridge Mountains, NC

Set atop a private hill in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this October retreat takes place at the height of fall, when the landscape is rich with color, crisp air, and a sense of calm that invites you to slow down.

Designed by renowned Southern architect Bobby McAlpine, the home blends timeless elegance with a deep connection to its surroundings. Light pours through expansive windows, highlighting natural materials, warm textures, and beautifully considered spaces that feel both refined and welcoming.

Outdoor living is central to the experience. A pool and cabana overlook sweeping mountain views, while fire pits and open-air dining spaces create easy moments for gathering, conversation, and quiet reflection. A hot tub sits perfectly positioned for long soaks under the open sky.

Just 20 minutes away, the charming mountain towns of Boone and Blowing Rock offer local shops, cafés, and a touch of small-town energy to complement the retreat’s peaceful setting.

Set on nearly 13 acres within a private, gated enclave, the property offers complete seclusion with thoughtful touches, including access to a cold, spring-fed swimming hole reserved exclusively for residents.

This is not just where we stay. It is part of the experience itself.

What women often ask before joining a Camp Joy retreat

What makes Camp Joy different from other retreats?

Camp Joy blends beautiful destinations, shared exploration, and meaningful conversation through the Inner Joy sessions. The result is an experience that feels both joyful and deeply connecting. Some women come with friends. Many arrive on their own. By the end of the retreat, everyone feels part of something special.

Do women come on their own?
Yes. Many women arrive on their own, and it quickly becomes one of the most rewarding parts of the experience. Friendships form easily when women gather with openness and shared curiosity.

How structured are the days?

Camp Joy retreats have a natural rhythm with shared experiences, outings, and Inner Joy sessions. There is also plenty of time to relax, explore, or simply enjoy quiet moments.

Do I have to participate in everything?
Not at all. Every activity is optional. Some women join every outing and session, while others take time to rest, read, or explore on their own.
