2027 | Greve, Tuscany

September 26 – October 2, 2027

2027 | Greve, Tuscany

For 7 days and 6 nights, Camp Joy makes its home at a beautiful 17th-century villa on a historic wine estate in the heart of Tuscany's Chianti Classico region. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and rolling hills, it's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

Part of the renowned Folonari family's wine estates, the villa sits amid a working vineyard where winemaking traditions have been passed down through generations.

The house itself is wonderfully spacious, with nine beautiful, renovated en-suite bedrooms spread across three floors, elegant interiors and inviting lounges where women can gather for conversation, laughter or a quiet moment to themselves. Historic Tuscan character meets contemporary comfort, with plenty of room to enjoy both company and solitude.

Outside, the gardens unfold across different levels, with shaded terraces, quiet corners and sweeping views of the vineyards and olive groves. There's a heated swimming pool overlooking the countryside, perfect for a leisurely afternoon swim or simply settling in with a book and a glass of something lovely.

And then there's Tuscany itself. We'll explore the surrounding Chianti countryside, discover picturesque villages, enjoy wonderful local food and wine, and experience some of the region's rich culinary traditions. With Florence so close, there's also the opportunity to experience one of Italy's most beautiful and culturally rich cities.

Food and wine will, of course, be a wonderful part of our week. Think long lunches, relaxed aperitivo hours, beautiful dinners around the table and the pleasure of discovering the wines produced right on our doorstep.

Throughout the week, our Inner Joy program creates space for something deeper. Morning yoga and meditation, reflection, meaningful conversations and workshops are woven into the experience alongside our Tuscan adventures, beautiful meals and plenty of unstructured time.

It's a chance to experience Tuscany as we think it's best experienced: slowly, from a beautiful villa in the heart of wine country, with time to explore, connect, laugh and enjoy the simple pleasure of being there.

What women often ask before joining a Camp Joy retreat

What makes Camp Joy different from other retreats?
Camp Joy blends beautiful destinations, shared exploration, and meaningful conversation through the Inner Joy sessions. The result is an experience that feels both joyful and deeply connecting. Some women come with friends. Many arrive on their own. By the end of the retreat, everyone feels part of something special.

Do women come on their own?
Yes. Many women arrive on their own, and it quickly becomes one of the most rewarding parts of the experience. Friendships form easily when women gather with openness and shared curiosity. Coming on your own you have the choice of a private room and, when available, being matched with someone in a room with 2 single beds.

I see that you have many options to share a bed, that's not something I've done before with anyone other than my partner. Hmmm.

We totally get that! It's why shared king beds must be booked with someone you know . . . and we suggest sharing snoring and bedtime habits before doing so!
Marea and Monique learned this the hard way on their first Camp Joy scouting trip :-)

How structured are the days?
Camp Joy retreats have a natural rhythm with shared experiences, outings, and Inner Joy sessions. There is also plenty of time to relax, explore, or simply enjoy quiet moments.

Do I have to participate in everything?
Not at all. Every activity is optional. Some women join every outing and session, while others take time to rest, read, or explore on their own.

How does your pricing and booking work?

Our retreat prices are listed per person, but our booking system displays the total cost of the room, including both guests when sharing. For example, a room priced at $5,200 per person will appear as $10,400 when booking for two. You don't pay the full amount when you book. A 50% deposit of the total room cost secures your reservation, with the balance due later.

Rooms designed for two guests sharing a king bed or twin beds must be booked together, with one payment covering the deposit for both guests. Where individual twin beds are available to book separately, you'll pay a 50% deposit of your own retreat cost.

If you have questions about booking or payment arrangements, please get in touch before reserving your room.

Still wondering if this retreat is right for you?
Most women who join a Camp Joy retreat have questions before they book. Some are travelling alone. Some haven't taken a trip for themselves in years. Some simply want to know what it really feels like.
