2027 | Cotignac, Provence

September 12 – 17, 2027

2027 | Cotignac, Provence

This enchanting 10-bedroom Provençal farmhouse will be our home for five magical nights in June 2026. Set on a private domaine surrounded by untouched nature, it looks toward the peaceful St. Joseph Monastery nestled in the Besillon mountains. The stone archways in the great hall were once part of the monastery’s stables, built in the 1600s. Over time, the property has been lovingly modernized, while preserving the soul and spirit of its history.

Just nine minutes away, beneath dramatic limestone cliffs, lies the medieval village of Cotignac—alive with cobblestone lanes, year-round markets, and café terraces perfect for watching the world go by. There is a special energy here, and it lingers long after you leave.

Our villa unfolds across three buildings, with hidden patios, an outdoor kitchen under the trees, and a pool house with sauna, and playful seating. Create art, bounce on the in-ground trampoline, or play pétanque or ping pong at apéro hour, Provence-style happy hour.

Bedrooms vary in size and style, all sharing bathrooms between two rooms. Like many centuries-old Provençal homes, no two are alike. Each offers its own charm, quirks, and 'cozy' storage but what they all share is authenticity, character, and views of Provence right outside your window.

What women often ask before joining a Camp Joy retreat

What makes Camp Joy different from other retreats?
Camp Joy blends beautiful destinations, shared exploration, and meaningful conversation through the Inner Joy sessions. The result is an experience that feels both joyful and deeply connecting. Some women come with friends. Many arrive on their own. By the end of the retreat, everyone feels part of something special.

Do women come on their own?
Yes. Many women arrive on their own, and it quickly becomes one of the most rewarding parts of the experience. Friendships form easily when women gather with openness and shared curiosity.

How structured are the days?
Camp Joy retreats have a natural rhythm with shared experiences, outings, and Inner Joy sessions. There is also plenty of time to relax, explore, or simply enjoy quiet moments.

Do I have to participate in everything?
Not at all. Every activity is optional. Some women join every outing and session, while others take time to rest, read, or explore on their own.

Still wondering if this retreat is right for you?
Most women who join a Camp Joy retreat have questions before they book.
Some are travelling alone. Some haven't taken a trip for themselves in years. Some simply want to know what it really feels like.
Book a Joy Conversation with us and let's chat further, we'd love to meet you.
