Cotignac, 12 - 17 or 12 - 18, 2026

Design element

We have added a 6-night option to Camp Joy in Cotignac for 2026 based on feedback from our campers! They suggested the option to take more time to enjoy the magical villa and also see more of the area.

The 10-bedroom Provençal farmhouse is enchanting and we are so excited to go back there. It is nestled within a sprawling private domaine surrounded by wild, untouched nature. Gaze out at the tranquil St. Joseph Monastery as the sun sets behind the majestic Besillon mountain.

Just 5 minutes away, nestled beneath towering limestone cliffs, lies the enchanting medieval village of Cotignac. Step back in time as you wander the cobblestone streets, explore the year-round market brimming with local treasures. Cotignac is one of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France.

This recently renovated villa is comprised of three buildings including the main villa, the Potteries, and the Courtyard Annex. You'll find a number of idyllic patios, an outdoor kitchen under the trees, and a charming pool house with sauna, seating and a bathroom. At your leisure, explore your creative side with an art project, relive the childhood joy of bouncing on an in-ground trampoline, or challenge new friends to a game of pétanque during "apéro hour" (that's French Happy Hour!).

Bedrooms are offered among the buildings and include a combination of rooms with two twin beds, bedrooms with a queen bed, and bedrooms with a King bed; each room shares a bathroom with tub or shower with one other bedroom.

The Cotignac trip pricing includes the Always On activities from the Retreats page, as well as winery visits, hikes, local waterfalls, market visits, and a host of little surprises that will spark your joy!
