1 / How is Camp Joy priced and how can I pay?
At Camp Joy we've selected Villas and activities that will blow your mind. Everything on the agenda is included except for transport outside of planned TGV shuttles. Pricing varies by room type and location.
​We accept all major credit cards, GooglePay and ApplePay.​​​​​​
2 / What if I want to attend alone?
Because of the size of the Villas we are curating for you, many include multiple beds in each room. We have two options if you've starting your Camp Joy journey alone (which can be a joy in itself):

Share a room with someone who is also travelling alone. We promise that we will do our best to make sure you are a good match! In this case, you will pay Shared Twin Room pricing or Campista pricing (Ear plugs provided ;-)).

If you would like to stay in a Queen / King room alone, we have separated out the accommodation and program costs and come up with the Private Room pricing on each retreat page.
When you register please let us know which you prefer. Same applies if you decide you would like to share a 3+ people room when available.
3 / What is your refund policy?

We request a 50% deposit at the time of booking.

At 30-days prior to the program we will request the remainder of the payment.

We will refund your deposit up to 90-days before the program begins, and refund 50% of your deposit until 30 days before the program begins.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before the start date are not eligible for a refund.
For Ménerbes, September 7th - 12th, 2025

The deposit is fully refundable up to June 9th, 2025.

From June 10th to August 6th, 2025, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit if you cancel.

Second payment due August 8th, 2025. We will send a link on July 28th to remind you of the payment.

For Zihuatanejo, February 28 - March 5, 2026

The deposit is fully refundable up to November 30th, 2025.

From December 1, 2025 to January 28th, 2026, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit if you cancel.

For Cotswolds, June 2 - 7, 2026

4 / How do I get to and from Camp Joy?
Because each location is different, these instructions will vary. When it exists, we will pick you up at a specified TGV (fast train) station or airport within a 75 minute drive from the Villa during a specified timeframe.

Ménerbes, Provence
By Train:
Take the TGV to Avignon TGV Station (approx. 3 hr 15 from Paris CDG, or slightly longer from other Paris stations). The station is a 10-minute drive from central Avignon.
By Air + Car:
Fly into Marseille Airport (MRS) and drive to Ménerbes (approx. 1 hr 15 min).
Shuttles:
We offer group shuttles from Avignon TGV Station to the property. Shuttle timing will be coordinated based on Camper travel details. If you’re unable to take the shuttle, we can help arrange shared transportation with other Campers.
Zihuatanejo, Mexico
By Air:
Fly into Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa Airport (ZIH). There are weekly direct flights from many major US and Canadian cities, and daily flights from Mexico City (MEX).
Shuttles:
Group shuttles from ZIH Airport will be arranged as part of Camp Joy Zihuatanejo. Timing will be coordinated based on Camper arrivals.
Cotignac, Provence
By Train:
Take the TGV to Aix-en-Provence TGV Station (approx. 4 hr 45 from Paris CDG, or slightly longer from other Paris stations). The station is a 15-minute drive from Aix’s town center.
By Air + Car:
Fly into Marseille Airport (MRS) and drive to Cotignac (approx. 1 hr 15 min).
Shuttles:
We offer group pick-ups from both Aix-en-Provence TGV Station and Marseille Airport (MRS). Shuttle timing will be coordinated based on Camper travel information. Rental cars are also an option for those who prefer to drive.

Cotswolds, U.K.
By Train:
Take a direct train from London Paddington Station to Stroud Station (approx. 1 hr 30 min). Stroud is an 11-minute drive from the estate.
By Car:
Drive approx. 2.5 hours from London, or 30 minutes from Gloucester or Cheltenham.
By Air:
Fly into Birmingham Airport (1 hour) or Heathrow Airport (2 hours).
Shuttles:
We offer group shuttles from Stroud Station to the Camp Joy estate. Shuttle timing will be coordinated based on Camper travel details.
5 / Booking for More Than One Person
If you know that you would like to room with a specific person, please let us know when you register. If you would like to ensure that we have space for both of you, please book at the same time or have one person book for both of you, which is possible through our Book Now pages.
6 / Check In and Check Out Times
Arrival
We’ll be ready to welcome you from 12:00 p.m. on the first day of your Camp Joy experience.
Once you’ve booked, we’ll share an arrival window specific to your location so you can plan your train or flight. In most cases, we begin orientation at 3:30 p.m. on arrival day, with pick-ups from the TGV/train station or airport planned for 1:00 p.m. at the latest.

A light, casual lunch and snacks will be waiting to keep you fueled as you settle in and explore the villa.
Departure
On your final day, check-out is by 11:00 a.m. We’ll arrange shuttles to the airport or train station based on your departure schedule.
If your train or flight leaves later than the planned shuttle, we’re happy to hold your luggage so you can enjoy a bit more time exploring the area before you go.
7 / Who Can Attend?
Camp Joy welcomes all women age 18+. We support the LGBTQIA+ community and believe that trans women are women, and are warmly welcome.
8 / What Information is Needed At Time of Booking?
In order to book for yourself or someone else, we ask you to please provide each persons': full name, email address, and roommate requests. We will follow up regarding dietary/allergy needs, accessibility/mobility needs.
9 / I have very specific dietary needs . . . will I be eating salad and plain chicken?
We have dietary needs too!! One of the things we are most excited about is finding the most delicious options for gluten free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, plant-based (and any other!) meals. Please be as specific as you can when we reach out and it will be our delightful challenge to make sure you eat like a queen!
10 / What should I bring?
We will provided a detailed packing list after you book. Camp Joy is informal so you'll have an uncomplicated packing list, we promise!
11 / What will the weather be like?
We expect the south of France to be quite warm during June and September. It's always possible for cooler evenings.
Zihuatanejo will be in the 80s and 90s in February / March. The evenings will cool to the low 80's, no sweaters required.

Cotswolds in June can be quite glorious, sunny and in the 80s or . . . it's England . . . it may rain every day. We will be ready for both!
We'll provide more specific details when we send your packing list.
12 / Do I need to speak French or Spanish?
We love *trying* to speak French AND Spanish and do so often! That said, we will ensure that all tours and services are provided in English. Maybe you can *try* along with us.
