Cotswolds, June 2 - 8, 2026

Design element

We’re thrilled to host Camp Joy for 5-nights, 6-days in the Cotswolds, U.K., at a countryside haven that feels pulled from the pages of a fairytale.

Just outside the village of Bisley, our home for the week is a historic estate nestled in the heart of nature. Surrounded by meadows, forest paths, and gentle hills dotted with Welsh Black cattle, it’s a soulful place where imagination and comfort meet.

Every room bursts with personality—from heritage details like grand sycamore staircases and hand-carved paneling to bold interiors that celebrate joy and color.

Step outside and let the natural world invite you in: nap beneath age-old oaks, wander sun-dappled trails, or unwind in the south-facing hot tub. There’s also a heated pool, sauna, steam room, and private tennis courts for those who crave movement and play.

The surrounding countryside offers quiet magic too. A walk across the fields leads to a tiny hamlet with its golden-stone cottages and friendly pub, while the nearby town of Stroud brims with creativity, from its vibrant Saturday market to its independent art scene.

This September, our Cotswolds retreat offers space to connect—with yourself, with others, and with the peaceful rhythm of English country life. Expect morning meditation and yoga, cozy dinners under candlelit beams, meaningful workshops from the Inner Joy program, and spontaneous bursts of beauty and delight—the kind Camp Joy is known for.

If you’re seeking laughter, stillness, inspiration—or just a reset surrounded by nature and kind women—come join us in this extraordinary corner of England.

Registration for this retreat opens on July 21, 2025.

Culture & Cuisine

  • The Cotswolds—an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the English countryside—is beloved for its honey-hued stone villages, rolling green hills, and timeless charm.

  • Head into the lively market town of Stroud, known for its award-winning Saturday farmers' market brimming with local cheeses, handmade pastries, flowers, and vintage treasures.

  • Spend your day exploring postcard-perfect villages like Lower and Upper Slaughter or Bourton-on-the-Water, often called “the Venice of the Cotswolds” thanks to its stone footbridges arching over the gentle river. Tuck into a hearty lunch at a classic country pub near Stroud, where you might enjoy a pint by the fire or under the shade of a garden oak.

  • Local flavors are everywhere—from fresh-baked scones with clotted cream to farm-fresh cheeses, cider, and handmade chocolates.

  • For a glimpse into royal life, visit Highgrove, the beloved country residence of King Charles III. This elegant Georgian manor is surrounded by world-famous gardens designed under the King’s personal direction, reflecting his passion for sustainability, heritage, and natural beauty. A guided tour offers not just a walk through exquisite landscapes, but an intimate window into the personal vision and values of the British royal family.
